Easter events to be listed

GREENFIELD – The Daily Reporter is seeking information on upcoming community Easter events.

If your community organization or church is hosting an event or special service open to the public, please email the details to [email protected]. Include the time, date and place of the event, and any special details about what’s happening.

Guard, percussion groups to perform

FORTVILLE – Mt. Vernon’s guard and winter percussion programs will host a Community Day and Bake Sale this week.

The event is at 7 p.m. March 17 in the Mt. Vernon High School gym, 8112 N. 200 W., Fortville. The Mt. Vernon Varsity Guard, Junior Varsity Guard and Winter Percussion will perform their programs for free for the community. Band boosters will be fundraising before and after the performance with a bake sale.

Donut fundraiser set for soup kitchen

GREENFIELD – An order of donuts will help raise money for the Kenneth Butler Memorial Soup Kitchen in an upcoming event.

Jack’s Donuts in Greenfield is hosting a dine-to-donate event for the downtown Greenfield soup kitchen. Stop in from 8-11 a.m. March 25 at Jack’s Donuts, 1522 N. State St., Greenfield. A portion of sales will benefit KBMSK.

Leadership group to host annual luncheon

GREENFIELD – Leadership Hancock County will be hosting its annual alumni luncheon 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. April 5 at NineStar Connect, 2243 E. Main St., Greenfield. All LHC alumni are encouraged to attend for lunch and a presentation.
