Libby’s Ice Cream to expand to new space

GREENFIELD – Libby’s Ice Cream in Greenfield recently announced an upcoming expanded location.

The business will relocate to 220 W. Mill St., Greenfield, according to it post on social media. That is just across Depot Street Park from its current location at Pennsylvania and Mill streets. The larger space will allow for inside service and the ability for the store to be open year-round. The business plans to be open by May.

Brooke’s Place to benefit from trivia event

MCCORDSVILLE – Daniel’s Vineyard in McCordsville will host a family-friendly trivia night fundraiser for Brooke’s Place.

The event, themed “Party like it’s 1999,” will feature trivia from 1999 and the 2000s and will be at 6 p.m. March 30 at the vineyard, 9061 N. 700 W., McCordsville. Tickets are $10 per person; proceeds benefit Brooke’s Place, an Indianapolis nonprofit organization that supports grieving children and families. Wellspring to offer new trauma group for men

GREENFIELD – A new group for men facing trauma is coming to Wellspring Center in April.

Breaking the Chains of Trauma is an eight-week group peer-led group for trauma-related issues. Trauma can pose some of the greatest stumbling blocks to recovery for offenders, mental health clients, substance abusers and individuals struggling with daily responsibilities, according to Wellspring. The group will help men work through issues of trauma and will meet at 6:30 p.m. every Tuesday starting April 4. The agency already has a women’s group on the same topic.

NPHS band program to host mattress sale

NEW PALESTINE – New Palestine High School’s band program will host a mattress fundraiser.

The one-day sale through Custom Fundraising Solutions Indianapolis will be 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, March 12 in the NPHS main gym. Brand name mattresses are available for below retail; a portion of proceeds goes back to the band program.
