Rudolph Dale Rennick, known to most as Rudy, age 98, of Greenfield, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Springhurst Health Campus. Rudy was born on June 29, 1924 to Blanche (Mitchell) and Fern Renick. He graduated from Kingman High School in Kingman, Indiana. Rudy was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He married Norma Katherine (Fatch) on March 6, 1948 at the Fatch Family Home.

Following his time in the Marines, he spent his career working at Western Electric as an engineering associate. Rudy was a member at Willow Branch United Methodist Church and the Telephone Pioneers of America. He enjoyed spending time playing golf and working in the woods.

Rudy is survived by his daughters, Lora (Tim) McGrath and Janet (Stan) Copple; grandchildren, John (Becky) McGrath, Cody McGrath and Dillon (Caitlin) McGrath; great-grandchildren, Abigail, Ian, Isaiah and Alora McGrath; and 2 nieces and 2 nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Blanche and Fern; wife, Norma; and siblings, Robert Renick, Richard Rennick and Winifred Renick Lockett.

Visitation and funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Willow Branch United Methodist Church, 6244 N Thomas St, Willow Branch, IN 46186. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. with the funeral service beginning at noon. Pastor Glen Davis will be officiating. Burial will follow at Center Point/Brown Cemetery in Center Point, Indiana at 3:00 p.m. Arrangements are being handled by Erlewein Mortuary &Crematory in Greenfield.
