The Hancock County Health Department inspects restaurants four times annually and violations are determined as “C” for critical, “NC” for noncritical and “R” for repeated violations. The following inspections are based on information obtained from Retail Food Inspection reports.

Violations found: C – packaged liver in freezer with broken packaging and covered with blood, several damaged canned goods and some almost bent over at 90 degrees, corrected; NC – unlabeled packages of what looks like pigs feet in reach-in cooler across from butcher area, corrected; NC – multiple packages of expired baby food, corrected; C, R – rack of ribs in meat cooler expired, corrected; NC, R – floors soiled throughout, evidence of products leaking or spillage, to be corrected by Dec. 28.
