Market to benefit Hope Center Indy

INDIANAPOLIS — Hope Center Indy, located near New Palestine, plans a Gather Hope Christmas Gift Market for 3-8 p.m. Dec. 10.

The market is free and includes vendors and Christmas lights decorating the Blooming Hope Greenhouse, 11850 Brookville Road, Indianapolis. Donations will be accepted for Hope Center Indy, which offers residential care for women overcoming sex trafficking, sexual exploitation and addictions. For more, visit hopecenterindy.org.

Bazaar set for Dec. 3

MT. COMFORT — Mt. Comfort Church’s annual Holiday Bazaar is set for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday (Dec. 3) at the church’s Mt. Comfort Campus, 3179 N. County Road 600W.

It will feature craft booths, vendors, food and silent auction items.

McCordsville church plans bazaar

McCORDSVILLE — An annual Holiday Bazaar is set for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 10 at McCordsville United Methodist Church, 6247 W. Broadway.

More than 35 vendor booths will feature handmade gifts and goodies, including decor, jewelry, candles, pet items, crystals, Mary Kay, Kelly’s Jellies, Scentsy, a cookie talk, tumblers and more.

Booth rental proceeds will benefit refurbishment of the church’s stained glass windows.

The church’s United Methodist Men will serve lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Remembrance service is Dec. 17

FOUNTAINTOWN — A community candlelight memorial service is set for 3-5 p.m. Dec. 17 at Bell Mortuary and Crematory – Shangrila Chapel, 1444 W. U.S. 52, Fountaintown.

A short program includes a candle lighting ceremony to remember the ones you are missing this holiday season. Aferward there will be light refreshments.

RSVP by Monday to receive your keepsake ornament with your loved one’s name, date of birth and date of death on it.

Chicken sandwich drive-thru open

MT. COMFORT — Chick-fil-A lunches are available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesdays (or while supplies last) at Mt. Comfort Church’s Mt. Comfort Campus, 3179 N. County Road 600W, Greenfield.

Each lunch costs $8 and includes a Chick-fil-A sandwich, bag of chips, cookie and a drink.

All proceeds go to help support Our Lady of the Apostles Family Retreat Center (2884 N. County Road 700W, Greenfield) and Mt. Comfort Church.
