G-CHS Drama to perform play
GREENFIELD – Tickets are on sale now for the Greenfield-Central High School fall production of the play “You Can’t Take It With You.”
The play is at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 18, 7:30 p.m. Nov. 19 and 2:30 p.m. Nov. 20. Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for students and can be found at gcmusic.ludus.com.
MVHS to perform “Mamma Mia!”
FORTVILLE – Tickets are available now for the upcoming Mt. Vernon High School production of “Mamma Mia!”
The musical is at 7 p.m. Nov. 17; 7 p.m. Nov. 18, 2 p.m. Nov. 19, 7 p.m. Nov. 19 and 2 p.m. Nov. 20. MV Theatre recommends its productions for ages 6 and up; cost is $16 online for adults and $12 for children 18 and under. Festival of the Trees, artisan shop coming to gallery
GREENFIELD – All businesses and nonprofit organizations in Hancock County are invited to decorate a tree representing their organization and display it at the TwentyNorth Art Gallery in downtown Greenfield. The annual Festival of the Trees will be Dec. 1-31 at 20 N. State St., Greenfield. Registration is $10; learn more at hancockcountyarts.org.
The gallery will also host an Artisan Shoppe, launching Nov. 25 and featuring local arts and fine crafts vendors. To register, visit hancockcountyarts.org.
Ricks to host event this week
GREENFIELD – The H.J. Ricks Centre for the Arts will host two shows this weekend.
Whirlwind Event starts at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18 and will feature nine artists from music to comedy. Described as “positive, clean music” the event is open to all ages and is $15 at the door.
Dean Martini, 45RPM and Retro on the Rocks will perform from 6-10 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19. Featuring energetic dance hits from Elvis, the Beatles and more, the event is for all ages and is $15 in advance or $18 at the door.

Classic holiday movie to be performed on stage
GREENFIELD – The Ricks-Weil Theatre Company will perform the play “A Christmas Story” in December.
The play will be at 7 p.m. Dec. 2, 3, 9 and 10; and at 2:30 p.m Dec. 4 and 11 at the H.J. Ricks Centre for the Arts, 122 W. Main St., Greenfield. Tickets are $13 for adults and $7 for students and are available at the door or at ricksweiltheatrecompany.seatyourself.biz.
