Theater group seeks talent show participants

GREENFIELD – Friends of the Theater are already dreaming of Christmas, planning ahead for Christmas at the Ricks.

Last year’s online talent show fundraiser was such a success, that this year video tryouts are accepted for a chance to perform live Dec. 17 at the H.J. Ricks Centre for the Arts.

Groups or individuals of all ages are welcome to submit a video of a talent, including but not limited to singing, dancing, or performing an instrument. Videos should be between three and five minutes in length and entries must be holiday-themed and family friendly.

Send your video to [email protected] by 6 p.m. Nov. 18 and look for a confirmation email. Public voting online is Nov. 20-Dec. 4.

The Christmas at the Ricks show Dec. 17 will feature headliners Josh Kaufman and Cliff Richey. The three local finalists from the online video voting will compete for a $500 first place prize, $250, second place; and $100, third. Email [email protected] for more.
