GREENFIELD — The new Chick-fil-A at 2203 N. State St., Greenfield opens Thursday, according to a news release from the restaurant chain.

It will be open for dine-in, drive-thru and carry-out, with third-party delivery available shortly after the opening, from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday. The restaurant will employ about 120 full- and part-time workers. Cody Walburn, an Indiana native and Purdue University graduate, is the independent franchised owner/operator.

In honor of the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. will donate $25,000 to Feeding America on behalf of the new restaurant. The funds will be distributed to partners in the greater Indianapolis area to aid in the fight against hunger.

In addition, Chick-fil-A Greenfield is recognizing 100 local heroes making an impact in the Greenfield area by providing them with free Chick-fil-A meals for a year.

Walburn’s restaurant will also participate in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table Program, an initiative that redirects surplus food from the restaurant to local soup kitchens, shelters, food banks and nonprofits in need.
