HANCOCK COUNTY — Fortville-based Bains Development has plans to build a convenience store with a gas station at the northwest corner of Mt. Comfort Road and CR 400N.

The development will also have two tenant spaces, according to filings with the county. The site is currently undeveloped.

The Hancock County Board of Commissioners approved Bains’ request to rezone the property earlier this week, following a positive recommendation from the county’s area plan commission.
