INDIANAPOLIS
72, of Indianapolis passed away to be with his Lord on April 8, 2022. He was born to John and Mary Hargrove in Greenfield on December 21, 1949.
He served in the Air Force from 1970 to 1976. Mike was employed by Navistar- International Harvester for 37 years. His hobby was collecting full size diecast cars which he found at auctions and on his many travels around the 50 states of our country. He was an active member of Christ United Methodist Church before his long two-year illness. He and his wife were fosters with GRRACE (Golden Retrievers Rescue and Community Education) and have had 34 golden retrievers in 13 years.
He left behind his loving wife, Susan and two daughters, Amy Carter and Christina Heck of Franklin, also a stepdaughter, Christina Merrill of Whiteland and a son, Terry Hargrove of Knightstown. He has several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He has a brother John in Wilkinson and a sister, Diane in Carthage.
The visitation will be held on April 18, 2022, from 4 -8p at Christ United Methodist Church 8540 US-31, Indianapolis, IN. A funeral will be held on April 19, 2022, at Christ United Methodist Church at 11am with an hour visitation prior.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to GRRACE or Indiana United Methodist Children’s Home in Lebanon, IN.
