Daniel C. “Dan” Reigelsperger, 72, of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away April 4, 2022 at TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. He was born April 2, 1950 in Dayton, Ohio to Anne Kathryn (Gallagher) and Norbert Joseph Reigelsperger, Sr. Dan was a patriot and news junkie and will be remembered for his love of cars, sports and, most of all, his family. Additionally, he was a talented painter, creating beautiful oil paintings for his friends and family. Lastly, he was a fabulous musician, who could often be found jamming on his drums. He retired from the private sector in 2005 and shifted his focus to the public sector, serving in various government positions in Greenfield, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Norbert J. Reigelsperger, Jr. Dan is survived by his wife of 25+ years, Audrey J. (Sipe) Reigelsperger; his four children: Laura Free of Lascassas, TN; Daniel Reigelsperger of Indianapolis, IN; Sara (Steve) Lumpkin of Homer, IN; and David Reigelsperger of Indianapolis, IN; and seven grandchildren. Services will be held on April 11, 2022 with burial in Lebanon (OH) Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in the memory of Daniel “Dan” Reigelsperger to Special Kids Therapy &Nursing Center in Murfreesboro, TN or Nourish Food Bank in Murfreesboro, TN.
