GREENFIELD
John Eastes, age 69, of Greenfield, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at his home. He was born in Greenfield on May 5, 1952 to Myron and Addie Eastes. On November 25, 1972, he married Beverly Lowder in Charlottesville, Indiana.
John worked at Hook’s in Indianapolis for over 30 years. Following his work at Hook’s, he was a janitor for Mt. Vernon Schools, where he was known as Janitor John. He loved riding around his neighborhood on his golf cart with his dog.
He is survived by his siblings, Rosie Cochran (Lewis), Mary Derry, Bob Johnson (Martina), and Mike Eastes. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Eastes; parents, Myron and Addie Eastes; and brother, Gerald Johnson.
