HANCOCK COUNTY — The county has recorded a new COVID-19 death, raising its toll from the disease to 226.
The victim was a man in his 60s who died Jan. 29, according to the Indiana Department of Health.
Daily cases recorded in the county continue to trend downward, with a total of 73 on Monday. The same is true for Indiana, which added 5,652 on Monday. The state also reported 131 new deaths Tuesday spanning from Jan. 22 through Monday. Statewide COVID-19 hospitalizations fell to under 2,800 as well.
