Deborah Ann “Debbie” Allen Striebeck, 64, of Delphi, passed away Tuesday-January 18, 2022, at 4:45 a.m., at her residence. She had fought a long and very brave battle with cancer for the past 12 years. She was born April 19, 1957, in Lafayette, to the late Richard &Patricia Rushton Allen.

Her marriage was to Ross A. Striebeck, at the New Palestine Methodist Church, on August 19, 1978, and he survives.

Debbie graduated from Mount Vernon High School in Fortville, in 1975. She received her RN nursing degree in 1978 from the Wishard Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. She worked for Franciscan Health in Lafayette for 42 years. She started in the hospital in the ICU &CCU floors, then went to the outpatient facility, and then to the heart cath lab for many years, retiring in October of 2020.

She was a member of the Tri Kappa Sorority of Delphi, and the Carroll County RN Club. She and her family had attended the Radnor United Methodist Church.

Debbie was a longtime Longaberger Basket sales rep for many years. She enjoyed helping Ross on their farm, and especially liked to care for all the baby animals they would raise. She enjoyed Purdue Sports and cheering on the Indianapolis Colts. An avid shopper, especially for her grandchildren.

Debbie had a contagious smile that always warmed up the room, and a giving heart, always putting others before herself. Her greatest love was for her family. She always enjoyed having them at her home, sharing a meal, or just hanging out.

Surviving: husband-Ross A. Striebeck of Delphi; daughters-Danielle &Blain McLeland of Rossville, Ashley N. Striebeck of Delphi; granddaughters: Karmyn Anderson, Samantha Campbell, Kendall McLeland; grandsons: Cole and Cavan McLeland. Brothers-Rick and Brenda Allen of Ferdinand, Russ and Martha Allen of Indianapolis, Ron and Becky Allen of Charlottesville.

Services: Visitation will be Friday from 3 p.m. to her funeral service at 7p.m. at Abbott Funeral Home, Inc., Delphi. Rev. Ed Selvidge will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Franciscan Hospice Care, 1415 Salem St., Ste. 202, Lafayette, IN 47904, envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Private family interment.
