GREENFIELD
Clark Gieseke of Greenfield, Indiana passed away on September 23, 2021. He was the only child of Edward and Thelma Gieseke. Born May 28th, 1941 in Covington, Kentucky, he was a graduate of Highland Heights High School in Newport Kentucky and the University of Kentucky in Electronic Engineering.
Upon graduation he was employed at Naval Avionics Facility in Indianapolis. He married Ann Marsh on June 20, 1970 in Eden, Indiana. He worked at the Defense Logistics Agency in Ft. Harrison, Indiana. After 36 years he retired to focus on family, travel, and Ham Radio, living part time in Florida. He always had a project going.
He is survived by his wife Ann of 51 years, his children Andy (Mara) Gieseke, Liz Gieseke Mouse, Mike Gieseke and his five granddaughters Sophie, Zoe, Chloe, Lauren and Grace. Clark accepted Jesus as his savior at age 9 and worshipped in his local Baptist and Christian Churches. He is joined by his loved ones who have gone to glory before him. AMEN.
A celebration of Clark’s life will be held on Monday, October 11th from 5:00 to 7:00PM at Erlewein Mortuary 1484 W. US Highway 40 Greenfield, IN.
