School foundation features honor roll giving program

GREENFIELD — A new “honor roll” program is available for those wanting to give directly to classrooms through the Greenfield Central School Foundation.

The GCSF Honor Roll allows parents, grandparents and families to make small, recurring contributions, where 100 percent of donations go to classrooms. For example, $5 a month can provide books to support new readers, or $20 a month can enhance science and technology programs. For details, visit www.gcschoolfoundation.org or call (317) 477-4103.

Those unable to give monthly can find other ways of giving by clicking on the “opportunities” tab on the website, including one-time contributions or shopping reward programs through Kroger and Amazon where a portion of purchases goes to the classrooms.

G-C students have access to free counseling

GREENFIELD — Free counseling sessions over the phone are available to Greenfield-Central students through a partnership with the Bowen Center’s Student Assistance Program. The benefit provides three pre-paid sessions that are private and confidential. For information, go to www.bowencenter.org or call 1-800-342-5653.
