GREENFIELD
Delores “MA” (Henson) Thomas, age 83, of Greenfield, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield, IN. She was born in Manchester, KY on February 14, 1938 to Daw and Sibble (Combs) Henson. She married James E. Thomas on February 11, 1972 in Indianapolis, IN.
Mrs. Thomas loved watching Hallmark movies, watching birds from her back porch, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her sons, Ed (Margie) Hoskins of Greenfield, Rick (Melissa) Hoskins of Indianapolis, Wayne Hoskins of Indianapolis, and James (Cathy) Thomas of Hebron, KY; sisters, Flora Holland of Allentown, MI, Irene Jones of Noblesville, IN, Becky Boyd of Manchester, KY, and Bonnie Lou Gillium of Manchester, KY; 21 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Seldon Hoskins; second husband, James E. Thomas; son, Kenneth Ray Hoskins; daughters, Cleo Hubbard and Kathleen Keith; sisters, Mary Magglend Bowling, Cleo Henson, Sarah Katherine Jones, Betty Lou Sizemore, and Edith Napier.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 4, 2021, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. Chaplain Katherine Murray will be officiating. Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis, IN.
