County reports new COVID-19 death for 4th straight day

HANCOCK COUNTY — Thursday marked the fourth day in a row the county reported a new COVID-19 death, bringing its total to 166.

The latest fatality was a man age 80 or older. He died on Sept. 15, according to information from the Indiana Department of Health.

Hancock County also added 50 new COVID-19 cases from Wednesday.

Indiana added 3,659 new cases from Wednesday. The state also added 28 new deaths occurring between Sept. 10 and 22, raising its total to 14,864.
