To the editor:
The chicken question again? ("City council to discuss altering bans on chickens," Page A1, Sept. 15.) I have lived in a city all of my life. Why? Because I do not want to live in the countryside, where I might have to live next to chickens, hogs, etc.!
Look, if someone likes the things that you find in the countryside, the answer for their desires is to move there. Please do not try to turn Greenfield into a barnyard.
If the city council and the mayor approve this, I will be offering free chickens to their neighbors and let them experience firsthand what they have approved.
