HANCOCK COUNTY — A request to rezone land for a large warehouse/distribution building on the agenda for the Hancock County Area Plan Commission’s meeting Tuesday evening was continued.
Exeter Property Group is looking to rezone about 40 acres at the northeast corner of county roads 300N and 400W from agricultural to an industrial business park designation for a 523,260-square-foot building.
Mike Dale, executive director of the plan commission, said the developer asked that the matter be continued to have time to meet and talk with surrounding property owners. The commission granted the request, and the rezone consideration is now slated for the commission’s next meeting, scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28 in the Hancock County Annex, 111 American Legion Place, Greenfield.
