Robert L. Bottoms, 88, New Palestine, passed away on August 10, 2021. Bob was born to Robert and Georgia (Parker)Bottoms on June 6, 1933. He served in the Air Force from 1953-1957.He worked for Western Electric until he retired in 1985. Bob was a member of Cross of Grace Church. A lover of all dogs, Bob was also an avid golfer and fisherman. He loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Myra (Headley); his daughters, Linda Stoeffler (Ron), Bobbi Petersen (Jim); his grandchildren, Corinne F lora (Keith), Danielle DeWitt, Joel Petersen, Erika Petersen; and his great-grandson Nathan DeWitt. A visitation will be held on Monday, August 16, 2021 from 4-7 PM at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East, 10722 E Washington Street. A graveside service will be held the following day at 10AM at Washington Park East Cemetery. Those attending the graveside service, please pull around to the east side of the building to be parked in procession.
