GREENFIELD
Frankie W. (Elliott) Isaacs, age 87, of Greenfield, passed away Thursday, August 5, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. Born on July 8, 1934 in Jenkins, Kentucky, she was the daughter of George and Emma (Turner) Elliott. She married George P. Isaacs on May 16, 1949.
Frankie worked at Hancock Memorial Hospital for many years as a nursing assistant before retiring. She was a member of Lawrence Church of God. In her free time, she liked watching game shows, playing solitaire, talking with friends on Facebook, and working jigsaw puzzles. She enjoyed reading, especially her Bible, and spending time with her family and dogs.
She is survived by her children, Gregory (Marie) Isaacs of Indianapolis, Grant (Teresa) Isaacs of Florida; Tammi Isaacs of Greenfield, George (Marianne) Isaacs of New Palestine, and Daniel (Deborah) Isaacs of Indianapolis; and 11 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Emma Elliott; husband, George Isaacs; 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 12, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Lawrence Church of God, 4230 N. Post Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46226 with visitation for one hour prior to the service. Pastor Harol Whitlock will be officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
