GREENFIELD — Leadership Hancock County is accepting applications for this year’s class, which will meet monthly starting in September.
Applications for the tuition-based program are available for download on the organization’s website, www.leadhc.org. Completed applications can be emailed to [email protected] and are due by 4 p.m. on Aug. 6.
The class year, which runs through April, kicks off with a two-day team-building retreat on Sept. 16-17. Most sessions are held on the first Wednesday of the month starting at 8 a.m. Sessions end by 5 p.m.
The program, which works to identify emerging leaders and prepare them for bigger roles in their organizations, includes sessions on county history, businesses and community issues, among others. Class members also study leadership concepts and learn teamwork through their efforts on community projects.
