Dave Pfaff, whose last day as superintendent of Eastern Hancock schools was on Wednesday, received a Sagamore of the Wabash to honor his decades of service to the school district. Presenting the award were state Rep. Bob Cherry, left, and state Sen. Mike Crider. This award is the highest honor bestowed by the Indiana governor. Pfaff retired after 42 years at Eastern Hancock.
