Revival services to take place under tent

GREENFIELD — Amity United Methodist Church will have revival services under a tent at 6:30 p.m. July 9-10 and 10 a.m. July 11. The church is located at 6042 W. County Road 100N.

The Rev. Curtis Bond will be the speaker.

Music on July 9 will be by 4 the Light Quartet. On July 10, the Victorius Trio will share music, followed by Blessed Truth on July 11.

Gateway serving meal Monday

FORTVILLE — Gateway Community Church will have a free lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays at its Community Building, 115 N. Main St., for anyone who wants to come.

Hotdogs, chips and drinks will be served. Games and activities will be available for children.

Summer meals back in Shirley

SHIRLEY — The Summer Food Program at Shirley-Wilkinson United Methodist Church has returned. The church serves meals from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays during the summer.

Meals will be offered as a drive-thru service at first, but organizers hope to open up inside dining later in the summer.

Blood drive is July 18

GREENFIELD — St. James Lutheran Church will have a blood drive from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 18 at the church, 1741 S. State St. Walk-ins are welcome.

St. James offers Bible studies

GREENFIELD — St. James Lutheran Church offers weekday Bible studies for adults.

“If you are looking for conservative, biblical, weekday bible studies, please join us,” said reads a notice from the church.

A women’s Bible study meets at 11 a.m. Mondays. A men’s Bible study meets at 9 a.m. Tuesdays.

The church is located at 1741 S. State St.

Brown’s Chapel plans sports camp

GREENFIELD — Brown’s Chapel Wesleyan Church plans Kids’ Sports Camp for kindergarten through fifth grade. It meets from 9 a.m. to noon July 19-23 at the church, 994 N. County Road 600E.

Children can participate in soccer, basketball, flag football, ninja warrior training, capture the flag, dodgeball and kickball.

Mercy Road plans sports camp

FORTVILLE — Mercy Road Church Northeast will offer Ballapalooza, a sports camp for kindergarten through fifth grade.

It meets from 9 a.m. to noon July 20-22. Participants will play four different sports throughout the week, hear messages about God, and worship together.

Cost is $15, which includes a t-shirt, snacks and supplies for the event.

Chick-fil-A tent visits Fortville on Thursday

FORTVILLE — The Chick-Fil-A tent will be up at Fortville Farmers Market.

Its presence throughout the summer at the market, which takes place 4 to 7 p.m. Thursdays in the parking lot of Fortville Church of the Nazarene, will be a fundraiser for the church’s student ministry. Fifteen percent of the proceeds will go toward summer events and activities for the youth.
