Brad Armstrong of New Palestine was awarded the Sagamore of the Wabash June 9 from Gov. Eric Holcomb at the governor’s residence. The award is presented to Hoosiers who have made a significant impact on residents in Indiana. Armstrong, a former Hancock County commissioner, is pictured with his wife Tara; she said the award was a surprise to her husband and they were able to tour the residence.
