GREENFIELD — State Sen. Mike Crider, R-Greenfield, will chair the Interim Study Committee on Roads and Transportation during the summer and fall to help prepare lawmakers for the 2022 legislative session.

Crider will also co-chair the Legislative Continuity Committee and serve on the Indiana Behavioral Health Commission, which was created by legislation he authored, along with several other committees.

“I look forward to leading and taking part in collaborative discussions with my peers in the Indiana General Assembly as we work to address some of the most important issues facing Hoosiers,” Crider said in a press release. “As we prepare for the 2022 session, I encourage constituents to contact me with any questions or concerns they may have about these topics and other topics that may come before us next session.”

Legislators will meet over the summer and fall months to discuss topics approved by the bipartisan Legislative Council, which is composed of 16 voting members, eight from the Senate and eight from the House of Representatives.
