Local students named to Cedarville Dean’s List

CEDARVILLE, OH– Chelsea Baker, Pendleton, and Sarah Himes, McCordsville, were recently named to the Dean’s Honor List at Cedarville University for spring semester 2021. This recognition requires the student to obtain a 3.75 or higher grade point average for the semester and carry a minimum of 12 credit hours. Trine University bestows honors and degrees

ANGOLA — The following Trine University students were named to the Dean’s List for the Spring 2021 term: Madison Clutinger, Wilkinson, majoring in finance; Hailey Dunham, Morristown, majoring in design engineering technology; Trenton Roberts, Greenfield, majoring in sport management. To earn Dean’s List honors, students must complete a minimum of 12 hours and have a grade point average of 3.500 – 3.749. The following Trine University students were named to the President’s List for the Spring 2021 term: Samuel Blocher, Greenfield, majoring in mechanical engineering; Addilyn Coil, Greenfield, majoring in exercise science; David Hockett, New Palestine, majoring in general studies; Seth Moore, Pendleton, majoring in biology; Tyler Murphy, Greenfield, majoring in design engineering technology; Konner Schieman, Fortville, majoring in forensic science; Skyler Schrope, Greenfield, majoring in general studies; Kylie Wolverton, Pendleton, majoring in exercise science/pre-physical therapy. To earn President’s List honors, students must complete a minimum of 12 hours and have a grade point average of 3.75 – 4.00. Elijah Diehr and Kammie McGreal of Greenfield both recently completed degrees at Trine University. Diehr graduated with a degree in electrical engineering, and McGreal was awarded a degree in biology and a Master of business administration. Students awarded Tri Kappa scholarships

GREENFIELD – The Upsilon Chapter of Kappa Kappa Kappa recently awarded its scholarships for 2021. The Martha Hawk scholarship was awarded to Jesi Hall of New Palestine High School. Hall will be attending University of Cincinnati. Tri Kappa scholarships went to Lilly Richmond, Nikolas Uhler and Jordyn Wickard, all of Eastern Hancock High School. Richmond will be attending University of Indianapolis, Uhler will be attending Trine University, and Wickard will be attending Purdue University.

Local students earn honors at IU – Kokomo

KOKOMO — Lexus Humbert (Fortville), Danielle Rhodes (Greenfield) and Jocilyn Claus (Ingalls) recently earned academic honors at Indiana University – Kokomo. Chancellor’s list students earned a 4.0 grade point average, while dean’s list students earned a minimum 3.5 grade point average on a scale of 4.0, while carrying at least 12 credit hours throughout the grading period. Grove City College honors local students

Greenfield residents named to Iowa State dean’s list

AMES, IA – Three Greenfield residents were recently named to the dean’s list at Iowa State University: Daly Pelger, biochemistry major; Nicklaus Pelger, elementary education major; and Madison Wise, marketing major. Students named to the dean’s list must have earned a grade point average of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded coursework.
