An army of Marauders became the last group of more than 1,000 high school seniors in Hancock County to cross the stage to accept their diplomas on Friday night, June 11. Scheduled later because its school year was delayed by two weeks last fall, the commencement exercise was the culmination of an unprecedented experience in the grads’ education. As they turned their tassels, they felt a sense of accomplishment to finish their pandemic-complicated high school careers. They also had the chance to focus forward on a world changed by their experiences.
