NEW PALESTINE — New Palestine resident Erin Garvey competed in the Mrs. Indiana pageant in South Bend this past weekend.

While she didn’t win the crown, she was recognized for Best Smile at the pageant, which featured married contestants from all over Indiana.

Garvey will continue to hold the title of Mrs. Hancock County for the coming year, and hopes to use her platform to promote issues near and dear to her heart, like health and wellness, supporting first responders, and shopping local at independent businesses.
