Hancock County graduating classes large and small turned their tassels and then turned to the future after their commencements on Saturday, June 5. Greenfield-Central (338 seniors) and Eastern Hancock (92) held their graduation ceremonies in the schools’ gymnasiums with limited attendance as a final reminder of the upheaval the Class of 2021 has experienced. But as the names were called and celebratory hugs were exchanged, the freshly minted grads experienced another reminder: It was time to look to a new era with great promise.
