GPD seeking help to find driver in crash

GREENFIELD — The Greenfield Police Department is seeking the community’s assistance in learning more about an early-morning accident on Tuesday, May 25.

Officers responded to an accident in the 400 block of North Meridian Road and found a utility pole had been damaged and a truck had been run up against a residence. The driver had fled the scene. Police think the driver ran eastbound from the accident, possibly cutting through neighborhoods in the area. The residence sustained some structural damage, but no one was hurt.

The incident happened around 3 a.m.

Police are asking that anyone with information contact them at 317-477-4410. Residents with surveillance cameras in the area of Meridian Road and Main Street are asked for review their recordings to check for suspicious activity and call police.
