HANCOCK COUNTY — De-clutter at home and get a tax break for helping the Hancock County Public Library. The library, located at 900 W. McKenzie Road, will accept donations from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. May 10 for the next Friends of the Library used book sale. Gently used books, DVDs, music CDs and video game discs may be dropped off at the side delivery entrance (northeast corner). A volunteer will assist when someone rings the bell. Please request your tax receipt at the same time. Proceeds from sales by the Friends of the Hancock County Public Library, a non-profit volunteer group, fund free concerts and children’s events.
