GREENFIELD — In celebration of Arbor Day, Regreening Greenfield will offer free tree seedlings at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 24, at the Hancock County Courthouse Plaza. Distribution will continue while supplies last.
Varieties include 100 each: black oak, redbud, tulip tree, white pine, Virginia pine, river birch and buttonbush.
Donations are welcome and encouraged. Proceeds benefit Regreening tree-planting projects around the city.
Road construction on State St. and U.S. 40 may impact parking. Access from the east side of the courthouse and South Street is recommended.
