Pick up string art kit at the Fortville-Vernon Township Library
FORTVILLE – The Pinterest Club for the Fortville-Vernon Township Library is offering a DIY string-art project to celebrate Hoosier pride. Kits are available at the library, 625 E. Broadway, through March 27. A step-by-step tutorial can be found on the library’s YouTube channel. Register to attend the Indiana Dunes Birding Festival
CHESTERTON — Make plans now for the Indiana Dunes Birding Festival, May 13 – 16 at the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, 1050 N Mineral Springs Rd. The 2021 event will be a hybrid/virtual event, with both in-person and virtual birding experiences, stretched over four days. Scott Weidensaul, a Pennsylvania-based naturalist and author of “Living on the Wind: Across the Hemisphere with Migratory Birds,” will present the keynote address both live and streamed.
