GREENFIELD — The Hancock County Arts Council announces the reopening of the TwentyNorth Gallery, 20 N. State St. The gallery will be once again be open to the public each Wednesday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The show for the month of March is the rescheduled Winter Wonderland Show, featuring snow-themed art in various mediums from members of the Hancock County Arts Council. INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis will once again be the center of the sports world for the next few weeks as it hosts the entire NCAA Men’s Basketball tournament. The 25 days of basketball will pair 68 teams from across the country for 67 games. Aside from basketball, downtown hot spots include: the NCAA Hall of Champions (700 W. Washington St.) with two-levels of interactive exhibits, a sports simulator and a 1930s retro gymnasium; the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis (3000 N. Meridian St.) is home to the 7.5-acre Sports Legends Experience, an interactive way to experience 12 outdoor sports and three indoor exhibits encompassing physical fitness and the history of sport; the Crispus Attucks Museum (1140 Dr. Martin Luther King Drive) will take you back to the time when the 1955 Crispus Attucks High School basketball team, led by a young Oscar Robertson, became the first all-black team in the nation to win a state high school basketball title; Monument Circle, the epicenter of Indy, presents Shining a Light, a synchronized light presentation currently themed to basketball at 8:45, 9:45 and 10:45 p.m.

INDIANAPOLIS — Butterfly Kaleidoscope opens at the Indianapolis Zoo’s White River Gardens Hilbert Conservatory, 1200 W. Washington St. on March 19. The butterflies transform the indoor gardens into a tropical paradise with more than 40 colorful species of butterflies and moths. The exhibit is open through Sept. 6 and includes species such as the blue morpho, Julia, paper kite and giant owl. Each day, newly hatched butterflies are released from the Emergence Chamber near the center of the Conservatory. For more information, visit indianapoliszoo.com.
