Library offers Cooking Under Pressure workshop

HANCOCK COUNTY — Do you have an electric programmable pressure cooker? Have you been interested in getting one, but you aren’t sure how to use it? Then join the Hancock County Public Library for "Cooking Under Pressure" from 2 to 3 p.m. March 23. In this virtual presentation, participants will learn about food safety, how to use an electric pressure cooker and how to create healthy recipes. Led by Cheryl Jones, Health and Human Services Educator at Purdue Extension, Hancock County, the session will provide research-based information to the community within the areas of food and nutrition, human development, finances and health and wellness. Zig-Zag Corner offers one-day machine embroidery workshop

GREENFIELD – Zig-Zag Corner, 7872 N. Troy Road, will host two one-day Machine Embroidery sessions from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 19 and 20. In this workshop, participants will create three projects that can be completed in one day. The $99 registration fee includes access to an embroidery machine, a Kimberbell project bag and fabric kits with embellishments, step-by-step instructions, project CD, lunch and snacks. Celebrate Earth Day with Hancock County Arts

GREENFIELD – Celebrate Earth Day 2021 at the TwentyNorth Gallery, 20 N. State St. with a Make It – Take It painted clay flower pot project from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 17.
