Bobby Lee Emge, age 81, of Greenfield, passed away Friday, January 8, 2021. He was born in Fort Branch, Indiana on March 17, 1939 to Wilfred Emge and Juanita (Myer) Reavill. He married Mary Frances (Brown) Emge on April 1, 1961 in Mt. Carmel IL.

Bobby worked for Dellen Automotive as an automotive technician from 1964 to 2001 when he retired. He was a member of the Rose City Riders of New Castle, Over the Hill Gang Motorcycle Club of New Palestine and was a past member of the Blue River Flying Club. Bobby loved riding his motorcycle, flying RC airplanes, woodworking, and dancing.

He is survived by his sons, Brett (Kaylena) Emge of Anderson and Rodney Emge of Greenfield; daughters, Annette Emge of Greenfield and Cynthia (David) Connelly of Greenfield; fianc?e, Anita Hite of Indianapolis; sister, Lois Vessels of Fort Branch; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilfred Emge and Juanita (Myer) Reavill; wife, Mary Frances (Brown) Emge; brother, Bobby Joe Emge; and grandson, Kory Emge.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A private family funeral service will follow the visitation at 12:00 p.m. As a reminder, the government mandate requires guests to wear masks when inside our building. We must limit the number of guests to 25 at a time, so guests may have to wait before entry. Please practice social distancing. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
