Judith Anne Lantz, age 93, passed from this life into the presence of the Lord on January 1st, 2021. She was laid to rest in a private , family burial. Judy was born in Terre Haute, IN to Russell and Catherine (Cavins) Richardson. She attended Butler University where she studied Radio and Theater. She then married the love of her life, Gerald Lantz, in December of 1947. They raised five children on the farm. Being a farm wife was just one of her many accomplishments in life. In the 1960’s she wrote, directed, built sets and made costumes for “Pilgrims Progress,” a play put on by about 35 Jr. High kids at Southminster Church. Other talents included sewing, knitting, drawing and painting. In retirement years she worked at the Children’s Museum, took Marimba lessons and tutored children in phonics in her home. Judy was a devoted wife, homemaker, mother, grandmother & great-grandmother who tried to live her life by looking to her Lord and Savior for guidance. She loved studying the Bible and sharing her faith. She loved traveling all over the world and had many exciting adventures with family and friends as well as endless stories to tell. She was most proud of “hang-gliding” while vacationing in Brazil on her 65th birthday! Judy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Alice Richardson, grandson Adam Lantz and infant daughter Susan. She is survived by son Doug (Tina) of Tennessee, daughter Beth Bullers, son Jeff (Susan) of New Palestine, daughter Sarah (John) Searer of North Carolina and son Peter of Tennessee.
