SHIRLEY –The annual Shirley Christmas Walk will take place from 5 to 9 p.m., Nov. 28. Vendors will be located throughout the town and most businesses will be open. Shopping bingo cards are available at the fire station, 212 Main St., for a chance to win prizes. The train depot, 204 S. Railroad St., and Octagon House, 400 S. Railroad St., will be open for tours. Take a ride in the horse drawn carriage. Santa will arrive via firetruck at the doctor’s office located in the historical district.

INDIANAPOLIS — Garfield Park’s Autumn Art Fair goes online this year from Nov. 20 through Dec. 20 at gpacarts.org. The show features samples of handcrafted and original artwork from more than 20 local Indianapolis-area artists. The online venue allows patrons to explore and purchase handmade goods and holiday gifts at their leisure. Prices range from 50 cents to $500.

INDIANAPOLIS — The Butler Ballet presents Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker” Nov. 27 through Dec. 4. In the true sense of giving, this time-honored family holiday tradition is available for everyone to enjoy at no charge via the Butler Arts and Event Center website butlerartscenter.org. This free event, featuring the talents of the entire Butler Ballet Company, was recorded live at Clowes Memorial Hall on Fri., Nov. 13 (cast A), and Sat. Nov. 14 (cast B). Spectators may choose to view either cast or indulge and watch both as the company’s gift to you. The stream link will become available at 12:00 AM on Nov. 27.
