Library offers take-and-make-it ghost crafts

GREENFIELD/NEW PALESTINE — Kids in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade can pick up a free take-and-make-it kit to make a paper ghost Halloween decoration. Each kit contains instructions and all materials necessary to complete the project. While supplies last, kits can be picked up at the children’s desk all day during open library hours on Oct. 26 at the Hancock County Public Library, 900 W. Teens invited to compete in Disney Villain trivia

GREENFIELD/NEW PALESTINE –Teens ages 13 to 18 are invited to gather for this virtual event and test their knowledge of iconic villains from popular childhood Disney movies. Log on to the Hancock County Public Library’s Discord server, “HCPL Teen Room” from 4 to 5 p.m. Oct. 20. Children’s Museum offers at-home Halloween Fun

VIRTUAL — The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis offers a variety of Freaky Friday Facebook Live events for Halloween. Visit The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis Facebook page on Oct. 23 for a Creepy Cupcake Challenge with IndyCar stars Tony Kanaan and Ed Carpenter as they battle it out in the Greatest Spectacle in Baking. On Oct. 30, Facebook Live will tour the Children’s Museum Haunted Collections (recommended for age 13 and up).
