HANCOCK COUNTY — Indiana’s retired teachers are continuing to help students from home through Indiana’s Call & Learn tutoring hotline, a service this is especially helpful to parents when so many students are learning from home.

Students can call 1-877-45-STUDY (1-877-457-8839) toll free from 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursday. Kindergarten through sixth grade students are paired with a general education teacher, while students in grades 7 through 12 get a mentor with expertise in math, science, language arts or social studies.

The service is free, and all calls are anonymous. For more information, email Trish Whitcomb at [email protected] or call 812-767-2050.
