HANCOCK COUNTY — Residents are encouraged to get out and walk or run “wherever they are” Saturday, Sept. 12 for the annual American Heart Association Heart Walk and 5K Run.
The event celebrates survivors of heart disease and stroke while raising money for the ongoing battle against the No. 1 and No. 5 killers of Americans.
Participants are asked to contribute to the community experience by sharing photos on social media with the hashtag #IndyHeartWalk.
Individuals may make donations to support the American Heart Association at indyheartwalk.org.
