HANCOCK COUNTY — Officials have identified a man found dead in a vehicle Sunday evening at the eastbound Interstate 70 rest stop near Greenfield as Stephen T. Williams, 63, Indianapolis.
Officials with the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department said Williams had an extensive medical history. While results of an autopsy are not yet available, investigators do not suspect foul play. The death appears to be of natural causes.
Deputies were called about 5:50 p.m. Sunday, June 14, to check on a person in a vehicle parked at the rest stop. They found the man unresponsive.
