NEW PALESTINE — American Legion Post 182 in New Palestine has selected the winners of its third annual scholarship competition. They are Alyssa Kauchak, first place; and Cora Downing and Braeden Baker as runner-ups.
The post had 10 entries for this year’s competition, in which students were asked to create a video that focused on the European Theater during World War II. The selection of winners was made by members of the New Palestine High School History Department and teacher Gina Iacobucci, along with members of the Legion.
