HANCOCK COUNTY — Senior girls in the Mt. Vernon school district are invited to apply for a $1,000 scholarship from the Hancock County Business and Professional Women.
The scholarship helps with expenses of vocational school or other post-secondary education, and only one scholarship will be awarded.
Applications are available through the Mt. Vernon High School guidance office and by texting "HCBPW Application" to 303-521-8165. Applications and essays must be postmarked or dropped off by June 15, 2020. The winner and her parents will be notified by July 8.
