Grant-writing workshop available

HANCOCK COUNTY — Due to the overwhelming interest in last fall’s Grant Writing Workshop, Purdue Extension Hancock County will play host to another workshop from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. March 13 and April 10 at the Purdue Extension office, 802 Apple St., Greenfield. The cost for the two-day class is $175. Scholarships of $50 are available through State Farm to any 501(c)3 participant. Registration is due by March 6 at bit.ly/BGGWSpring2020. Theatre company to audition for musical ‘Little Shop of Horrors’

GREENFIELD — The Ricks-Weil Theatre Co. will hold auditions for the musical “Little Shop of Horrors” from 7 to 9 p.m. March 15 and 17 at H.J. Ricks Centre for the Arts, 122 W. Main St. “Little Shop of Horrors” tells the story of the relationship between a lonely florist and an unusual plant that quickly gets out of hand. Performances are June 5-6, 12-14 and 19-21.
