Gary Alan Sickle, 68, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, January 7, 2020.
He was born June 26, 1951, in Long Island, New York. Following his graduation from Cincinnati Bible College/Christian University, his ministries took him through Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. He ended his career at Shirley Christian Church, where he recently retired after 12 years. He loved singing, traveling, but mostly spending time with his loving family.
Gary is survived by his wife, Janet (Hirsch) Sickle; children, Bethany (husband, Andrew) Beaver and Zachary “Zach” Sickle; brothers, Bruce Sickle of Monroe, OH and Mark (wife, Carrie) Sickle of Sevierville, TN; step-mother, Betty Sickle; and future grandson, Matthew Lee Beaver. He was preceded in death by his father, Gail A. Sickle; brother, Steve Sickle; uncle, Luke Sickle; and sister-in-law, Robin Sickle.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, January 10, at Condo & St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Wilkinson, with Pastor Terry Kemp officiating. Burial will be at McCray Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. this evening at the funeral home.
