The teams are the same, but the site will be different.

The IHSAA announced pairings Monday evening for the 64 IHSAA Boys Tennis Sectionals.

Mt. Vernon is the host school for the five-team field for Sectional 47 that includes all four Hancock County schools and Pendleton Heights.

Due to construction at the Mt. Vernon High School courts, the tournament will be played in Fishers at Fishers High School.

There will be one match on Wednesday and two semifinal contests on Thursday, with the final scheduled for Friday. Matches are scheduled to start at 5 p.m. each day.

The tournament opens with a Wednesday first-round match between Pendleton Heights and Greenfield-Central. The Cougars beat the Arabians 3-2 on Sept. 18.

On Thursday, defending sectional champion New Palestine takes on Eastern Hancock.

In the second semifinal Mt. Vernon, winners of this year’s county tournament and owners of a 15-1 overall record going into Monday’s match at Delta, will take on the winner of the Pendleton Heights-Greenfield-Central match-up.

The championship match is slated to be played on Friday.

Winner of the sectional advances to regional play, which is scheduled to get under way Oct. 8-9.
