GREENFIELD
Lemuel Ross Boylen, 63, of Greenfield Indiana passed away September 13, 2019 at Hancock Regional Hospital in his sleep. Lemuel was born February 24, 1956, the son of Avanelle and Okey Leroy Boylen. On July 31, 1976, he married Patricia Truitt-Boylen.
Lemuel worked many years as a journeyman carpenter and laborer for the union before starting his own business L.R. Boylen and Son.
He is survived by his daughter Anna Mae Boylen, son Okey Max Boylen, granddaughters Natylee Boylen and Hylei Boylen, brother Michael Boylen, and several nieces and nephews.
He preceded in death by both parents, Avanelle and Okey Boylen, brothers Keneth Boylen, Wesley Boylen, sisters Maryjane and Darlene Bowers, and his wife Patricia Truitt-Boylen.
The Celebration of Life will be held on October 5, 2019 at 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Charlottesville Lions Club.
